Who is organising the events

The events have been organised by the Royal British Legion and local community groups, with support from Sandwell Council.

The Mayor of Sandwell, Councillor Margaret Sutton, said: "Remembrance Sunday is an important time for communities across Sandwell to come together to remember and honour those who have served and sacrificed for our country. With gratitude, we reflect on the courage and service of members of our armed forces, past and present, and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defence of the freedoms we are privileged to enjoy today."
