Sandwell Council and TR Partnership Homes Ltd have completed 15 new affordable council homes at Hawes Lane, Rowley Regis.

The development includes a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom houses, two-bedroom bungalows and one-bedroom apartments. All properties will be let to people on Sandwell Council's housing waiting list.

Sustainable Design and Modern Standards

The homes have been built to modern standards with sustainable measures to improve energy efficiency and reduce bills. Features include air source heat pumps, photovoltaic solar panels and electrical vehicle charging points.

Some properties have been adapted to meet specific tenant needs.

Council Response

Sandwell Council Leader Councillor Ray Nock said the development provides "much-needed affordable homes" and forms part of the council's wider programme of building new council homes.

Councillor Ken Parsons, Cabinet Member for Housing, added that the properties "contribute to tackling the housing crisis" and help build a "stronger, more inclusive community".

Josh Skidmore, Co-Founder and Co-Managing Director at TR Partnership Homes Ltd, described the project as "a great example of how effective collaboration can create much-needed affordable housing" and said the partnership looks forward to future opportunities with Sandwell Council.
